Can X-rays see through gold or is the specific metal too dense? Is there a chart of metals and their density in relation with the kind of penetration relating to each metal?

The more dense an element, the more radiopaque.

Thankou.So gold is even denser then lead and it would block x-rays.But of course its too expensive for such uses. Very Happy

So you could smuggle something that you just dont want to be seen that has not scent for example(like a silver coin(s)) through airport and/or post office x rays by putting in in a gold box or between 2 gold coins?
