To all of my registed brother's and sister's there is no need to freight...the future holds great promise for Registered Technologist. I've recently been checking out various forums and for Nuclear Med techs and RT techs there has been concern about finding jobs. Well, does anybody know about the Medical Bill Act that is in congress which is suppose to pass this year???!!! If you have more info post please. From my understanding it states that, if you work in a medical job which holds a registry or certification you HAVE to be registered to hold that job or position. This is great because for all of the MA's and secretarys that have X-Ray jobs or unregistered MRI, CT, and Nuc Med techs you will have to get formal education and take your registry to work in that job. I'm excited about this! This will increase our value and pay. What do you think!!!???? |

Sorry, we've been fighting this battle since I first got registered in 1979.
I'm not buying ... Is this a federal bill? Is it before the House or the Senate? Who's sponsoring? The Medical Bill Act? Is that really it's name? Where'd you get your info?
The Care Bill, supposed to accomplish the same things, has been under consideration for ... as long as I can remember. We're not much further today than 10 years ago.
I'll wait to get excited.
