hi ,
im a forgien medical graduate livin in US these days and am very intrested in the DMS programm and have applied and will know if ill be accepted for the programm or not , but i have some Qs

1. for some one like me, what r the chances of getting accepted in this programm

2. i would like to start reading b4 i join, and i would like to know which ultrasound physics book should i use or should i start with the basics of physics

3. would also like to get any tips that will prep me for this cource b4 hand , as im also a mother and will be jugling alot through school.

What exactly is your educational background? It sounds as if you have soun medical training already. Talk to different schools, as prerequisites differ from school to school. But it may actually be a lift up for you if you have anatomy and physiology knowlege.
I don't fully understand your first question (vague).
2. Try finding online at Amazon.com Sidney edelman (not sure if his surname was spell correctly, but close) for physics. He is great and really simplifies ultrasound physic like know one else.
3. Just hold the focus and get some exposure. Being a foreign student and mother is know setback. You are really not alone Laughing

Let me tell you dear. You can do it. There is a helpful site to spur you on for edification, once you get started called sonoworld.com

Hi, I am also from a foreign country and just finished ultrasound school half a year ago.

1. I think with your medical brackground, your chance of getting accepted will very good. I know several people of your background, they all got into program.

2. Ultrasound physics should be easy for you. Don't need to worry about it right now.

3. My biggest problem is my language and conmmunication skills. I wish these would not be a problem for you. If you do think your language is not good enough, work on it now.

mamabamama n justgrad thank u both for the relpy , i have postponed my application for next year as i just found out that im preg plus i had some things still missin from my application like my TOEFL results and evaluation of my previous educational documents , and i didnt wanted to rush my incomplet application.
mamabamama i have completed medical school from my home country, and i have thought hard about gettin my medical lisence here in US as a physician but i dont think i can take the stress and work load that comes with it , u can say i have a lil different mind set when it comes to be with my family n all , i know goin back to school and studin is also not goin to be easy but it will just a matter of 2-3 yrs may be a lil more but after that im hopin it will be more like a 8 to 5 kind of a job.
initaily i was lookin for a masters programm and i assumed that with my degree ill be able to get in to a masters programm but then there requirment was some kind of educational n work background in snography, so thats why i finaly decided to take this course to get to where i want to.
sorry guys for the long story , but i realy apperciate ur all input and support.
