I was just curious as to why you chose MR and what you like/dislike about it?
Thanks! |

not for myself, but my wife used to do MRI before we started having kids. when she was in school, she had an evening shift position as a tech aid in MRI. i think we both always knew that that's where she wanted to end up. once regestered, we took our corss sectional anatomy classes together, she went to MR and i went to CT. i think CT was a little too chaotic for her (get em in, get'r'done, GO GO GO!!), whereas i thrived in that kind of enviornment (throughout clinicals as a student i was in a Level 1 trauma center).
it all depends on the type of enviornment you want to be in. personally, i couldn't take 30 - 60 min. with just one patient. i'll get bored.
get'r'done!

We sound like twins who never met!
I do IT now, but if I ever go back to direct patient care, I'm ONLY going back to work Level-1 third shift ED/ER.
Must be that adrenaline.
