Hello!
Recently, I have been accepted to participate in a Radiographer program at HUP in Philadelphia (hospital of University of Pennsylvania) and also at my local community college.

My question is, and I think I may have answered it by just typing this.. but which program do you think would be best?

I know they both follow the same program and have the same accredation agencies, but I still, for some strange reason, have not chosen one or the other.

Is one better than the other? or will one look better on a CV?

Help, Please!

Are they both 2 year programs? Will either or both of them earn (at least) an Associate degree?

Compare them apples to apples.

Length of program. Cost. Accreditation (you did already make sure they're both accredited, right?) Degree. Registry pass/fail rate (if it isn't posted on their website, they should be willing to tell you - if they're not willing to tell you? Ask yourself why not).

And although you'll hear different opinions on this forum, 30 years of experience reminds me that employers don't care where you went to school. They care that passed the ARRT exam and are nationally certified.

I did a little research for you and found that the Hospital of university of Philadelphia offers a certificate program, but not a degree program. The community college of Philadelphia offers an Associates Degree. While the pay is the same regardless, if the cost difference is minimal, its nice to have a degree.
If you have any plans of obtaining a B.S. in the future, it is nice to have some pre-reqs that will transfer, in the future.
Something to consider...

Check out the website of JRCERT. It lists every accredited program and you can search by city, state, etc.
