Hi,
I am applying to a few different schools that require "Intro to Radiology", but it isn't offered where I live unless I am in the program. Does anyone know of a school that offers this class online?
Thanks |

It seems that you want to gain prior knowledge in radiology than commitment to a full time. Great way to go! While you are looking for this type of class, consider several different career choices, while your at it.
This way, you cover all basis. I do not want to discourage you but feel out and seek others whom are in the industry. Volunteer, in a hospital base program and do your initial investigation there. Or use this Forum, you have many good tech online here. Ask the right question, and your answers will be given.

I don't fully understand your reply. I am saying that I am applying to multiple radiology programs at different schools to increase my chances of getting accepted and started as soon as possible. I have already done 40 hours of shadowing in the radiology department of my local hospital as well as taken all the other prerequisite classes. I am not asking where to take radio 101 online because I want to learn about radiology so I can make a career choice, I am doing it because it is a required prerequisite for some of the schools I am applying to. Maybe you misunderstood where I was coming from. |

Hello I am sorry that you are confused, this message was for another reply -for some reason the reply went to the incorrect response-letter.
How did that happen? I too, would be confused. Again, technology, went bonkers.

To the best of my knowledge, this course is only offered to students who are enrolled in a Radiologic Technology Program, not available 'ala carte'. Unless I miss my guess, it is also not offered online by anyone.
