How do you request "shadowing"? Where do you go? I have not started school yet, but have been strongly considering this field.

Call the Radiology or Imaging Department at a local hospital. Ask to speak to the Department Director.

Explain that you're considering Radiography as a career. Ask if they will allow you to come to the department and follow someone through their day for a half-day or a few hours, so that you can get a better of what it is that we do.

Most Department Directors are willing to allow this.

Good luck.
