Why in the world would anyone want to wear dockers and a polo? How dorky is that! Besides, scrubs are cute and colorful and I want to look cute when I go to work and not look like a person who works for wireless stores! ( Cingular, Sprint, etc!!) _________________ Shari Leonard |

While I understand the whole "cute" thing (having been cute most of my life ... ha! Just wait 'til YOU pass 45 and lose your "cute"! Think it can't happen to you? Just you wait
Even so, I'd put professional above "cute". There's a small part of me that misses white uniforms. Aside from being a sort of 'badge' of honor, it also meant that I never had to think about what to wear .

I understand about the "45" thing. I'm not quite there yet, but I have got to try and be cute everyday because my day is coming!! But on the job I can't look too cute because I don't want to draw too much attention to myself because of the prisoners and crazy people. It could become a safety issue. Especially us women. Men don't have to worry too much about that. They like that kind of attention!! |

AMEN!! I'm not quite there yet, but it's just arouns the corner!! I think mix & match scrubs are the way to go. That way, you can pick what you wear, but still look professional. You can be cute or plain or whatever!! I think plain scrubs are boring (jmho), but if the hospital is providing them......... |
