what now?

passed my boards couple of months ago and now i have a few decisions to make. i got a weekend job at a hospital which is great, but im not sure if i should look for another job or go to school to work up to a BS. i took a certificate RT program so i am starting almost from scratch in college, which is not a problem for me. what do i study for if i do go back to school?

yea i was also thinking about going for my bs after i finish school soon. but i will get a assoc. degree when i finish school so i dont know if i can put that towards a bs. ive heard there are only a few schools that offer a bs in radiology. ive heard the university of central florida does but i havent personally looked into that yet. but i was told about this:

it says its a rt to bsrt which i suppose means your already a tech and your going for a bs, i dont know if it requires that you have a assoc. degree already though, also if you have and assoc. degree then i suppose you would only need 2 more years of school for a bs

The question is.. What do you want to do with your life? A BS in radiology won't get you much farther than department management. If that is your goal then go for it.

I'd probably go for a more generalized business degree tho because combined with your RT that would also get you a job in department managering but leave you open to other business fields.

after thinking about it. i do want to go to school, but nuc med and rad therapy jobs are scarce..sooo..im starting pre reqs to get into a PA program
