the mosby was good.
i don't even remember the book i used. after i graduated from college, i took a year off before i took my registry. just sat myself on the evening shift and soaked up as much as i could. i think i opened the book maybe 3 weeks before taking the boards, put it down, and never opened the book again.
the night before my boards, i got really drunk. didn't mean to, i was just really nervous because i barely passed my classes (not a very good test taker). i took the boards with a hangover, and got a 92.
basically, it doesn't really matter which book you use. the registry is one of those tests where either you know it or you don't. as long as you are confident that you know your stuff, do whatever it takes to relax, and just do it.

I was so rattled the day I tested out, I went to the wrong test site.
You may not know this, but in the OLD days, we had to actually go to a testing site in a large city ... hundred + people in the room from all over, protcors walking the room. Nerve wracking.
Anyhow, I mistakenly signed up to test in Baltimore, but went with the rest of my class to the testing site in DC. Oooops. I got really lucky - they took pity on this clueless idiot, made some phone calls and let me test out in DC.

I have the Mosby as well and think it looks very good so far. It's a very good review of what we've done over the last 2 years and the example tests are nice to have.
I'm also considering this...
Corectec Online Review Course
...it looks good, but between the Mosby book/CD, and my seminar class this Fall, I probably don't need it...not for another $100 anyways. _________________ <JESUS>< |

The D.A. Saia books helped me a great deal with the registry. They have books, but also a website. You can take mock exams and focus on areas that that you would like. I highly recommend using Saia for studying! |
