Can anyone tell me, what happens when a radiographer replies to a job posting and the hospital selects his resume, but he lives far away, like Toronto-Tampa. Do I have to go there for an interview, can they make it by phone, or just hire me, based on my credentials.

With the tech shortage, some places will fly you in. Most do a telephone interview of some type. Be positive and professional.

After living a sheltered life for 20 years in the military, where everything was totally structured, this is a great thread for those young and older [I qualify as older, LOL] who are in the process of eventually entering the job market.

My questions [for now] are;

- Are hours/work shifts determined during an interview?
- How's salary negotiated?
- Will employers hire if one still aspires to continue his/her education?

Any words of wisdom?
