|
Hi everyone,
Just looking for some advice. I am thinking of applying to an associates degree program in either Ultrasound or Radiology.
My problem: I have a certain degree of color blindness. I can see color of course, but I cannot see as broad of a spectrum as many others can. It's not uncommon for men to have this (about 10% of the population), but would this harm my ability to perform in these health fields.
Any information would be helpful. Thanks in advance! |

phillipus_rex,
I work with 4 registered radiology technologists and 2 radiologists (all male), who are color blind. Being color blind has not hindered them in their duties as technologists, or radiologists.
Good luck in finding a good radiology or ultrasound program.
