|
If you've arrived on this site to ask someone to look at images for you, or explain a finding, to ask about clinical decisions (why didn't they tell me..), you're not in the right place.
Those who frequent this forum are Radiographers, Sonographers and the like - we are specialized in performing diagnostic procedures and obtaining images which a physician (a Radiologist) will interpret.
Radiographers do not interpret images. We don't consult with your physician, we don't communicate the "results" to anyone. That's a job for a fully licensed physician who has spent multiple years after medical school specializing in the interpretation of diagnostic images - a Radiologist.
While we may sympathize with anguish or anger you may be feeling due to a missed diagnosis, or information you feel you should have had and did not get, we can neither explain nor assist.
Please speak directly to your physician , or contact another physician for a "2nd Opinion".

Thank you for posting this! Now if my patients could only read it. I get tired of people thinking that I can interpret their study.
I just tell them they don't want my opinion. _________________ SL |

I AGREE. PATIENTS OFTEN FEEL THAT THE TECHNOLOGIST IS DELIBERATE IN CONCEALING INFORMATION FROM THEM WHEN IN REALITY WE ARE NOT QUALIFIED OR LICENSED TO MAKE AN INTERPRETATION OF AN IMAGE. |
