Hello everyone,
Just found this forum and it's nice to be able to talk to others in this field. I'm in southern California where the job market is tight and are probably going to be forced to take travel assignments. Do any of you have any recommendations as to which agencies are good, or horror stories about the bad ones? The compensation packages sound similar to each other, so is there anything specific to look for or red flags to watch out for? I don't personally know anyone who's been through the travel tech experience so I would really appreciate any feedback in this area. Thank-you much for all your help. - Gdguy

I have been in the traveling business for a while, and know the 'ins and outs' of companies.
Obviously, you're looking for a company that will treat you right, maximize your dollar and offer great benefits...and on top of it all, include "perks" that enhances your experience on each assignment.

Thanks for your response. After searching the local area (very tight in Southern California) with limited leads, I was resigned to taking travel assignments. Ironically, just as I was about to give up, a local opportunity became available. I will say that your company was one that I was considering based on conversations with one of your reps. He was honest, professional, and would not name companies to avoid even when I asked. I appreciate this approach compared to the way some of the other companies I have been in contact with do business. When it does come time to jump into the travel assignment arena I will put you at the top of the list. Thanks again.
