Certifcation is provided by completing eligibility requirements (including educational requirements), and passing the exam provided by the agency responsible for certification of technologists.
Registration is the annual procedure required to maintain registration of the certification. Registration is simply the maintenence of continuing education requirements and paying the annual fee.
