anybody know where you can find technique charts for film radiography(ya my clinical site is still in the old days)it would be greatly apperciated....thanks |

Unfortunately, there is no such thing. The closest thing to one would be the use of Supertech technique generator. They are quite expensive though.
Although it would be great if there were such a thing. The fact that there is such a wide variety of generator types, computer systems, and imaging plate systems, makes it literally impossible.
In the facility that I work at, there are 3 different technique sets that you must know. Each room has their own unique computer set up. We also have a digital portable machine that shoots extremely low mAs techniques, that can't be duplicated in our other rooms.
Find the best technologist at your facility, give them a list of all of every exam, and then ask them nicely for an appropriate technique for YOUR body. This will set a baseline for your brain to analyze. Get a few pediatric techniques. Record all of this in a small note book. Start recording every exam technique you use and the size of the patient. In no time you will have an effective technique chart. The more you use it, the faster you will memorize them.
