I currently have a Bachelors in Accounting, but I am looking to make a career change to Radiology. I enjoy black and white photography but it is not a dependable job so I thought of Radiology. I have always thought the human body was interesting, but can't deal with the blood and guts. Do you think it's for me? What is the best school for Radiology? How difficult is it to get into a radiology program?

During the current recession, it is harder than ever to break into a career in Radiography. You may still (after a wait list or other requirements) be able to attend a 2-year program, but jobs in Medical Imaging are few and far between at the moment.

Medical Imaging is NOT the same as photography. What we do is less picture-taking and more patient care. If you can't deal with people pooping on your shoes, throwing up on or near you .. if you can't stand the sight of blood and if sick people annoy you? This is NOT the place for you.
