|
Im a radiologic technologist looking to go back for my Bachelors Degree. I want the degree to give me the option of enrolling in the Radiologist Assistant program.
I didnt have a very good experience getting my Associates in Radiologic Sciences and I want to make darn sure to pick a good school this time around.
I live in Minnesota and to my knowledge none of the colleges around offer bachelors in Radiologic Sciences.
I would really appreciate feedback from any graduates of a Bachelors Program.
What did you like/dislike about the school?
Would you recommend/not recommend the school?
How did you go about arranging your clinicals for distance learning? In Minnesota the job market right now is extremely lousy for us and I don't currently work in a facility where I have access to CT and MRI. At this point I'm hoping one of the major Radiology groups would be willing to take me on as an unpaid intern or something.
Thank you for any replies. _________________ ARRT registered since 2006

You might look at the program @ Midwestern State University in Texas.
They have an online program for a BS and MS degrees as well as a RRA program.
You can find more information @ www.mwsu.edu

Clarkson College can accomodate an externship in CT, MRI, Angiography, Mammo or Dexa (Bone Densitometry) no matter where you live. They also offer online courses to prepare you for the externship. All college credit hours completed can be used for Category A CEU credits for your ARRT requirements. Each 3 hour credit course is worth 48 hours.
Also, as a registered technologist - you can transfer in 44 credit hours that will go towards your BS degree.
If you would like more information about the College and the MI Program, you can view our website @ www.clarksoncollege.edu or contact the Program Director @ Collins@clarksoncollege.edu.
Good luck! |
