I have been a dummy Embarassed I let my license expire (and I'm not even sure which year!). I graduated in '95, and worked until '97 in the field. I know I continued my license into '99. I think it was '01 or '02 that I lost it due to not re-newing and the CME credits. I was working in another field, and just too busy!

I have some questions:

Will I just have to sit for the boards?
Do I have to get my 24 CME credits first, and then sit for the boards?
Will I have to go back to school again?

I know I can pass the boards if I study. I really want to get back into the field. Can someone please help?

I read the "By-Laws" of the ARRT, but they are so confusing to me. Unfortunately, I won't even be able to call them until after the Holidays to even ask any question's. I was really hoping someone had a little insight on this. Thanks! Very Happy Smile

it is my understanding that you will have to sit for the exam and complete some CEUs. First you will have to apply to sit for the exam and provide all the required docuemtation associated.

Good Luck. Our school has provided review classes for others in your situation. It can be tough to tackle the test when you have been out for a while. I recommend getting Correctec study materials and Dorothy Saia's books.

Try searching for college syllabus from a radiology physics course on google. That will give you an idea of what is being taught. The Apppleton and Lange review book will help tremendously. Do the CD over and over and over...
