justmira,
tell me about it. i am also brand new student and have not had math in a couple years. the prof gave us a practice quiz today and hell i didnt even know how to do half of the stuff on there. they told us that this class was the hardest of our fall semester. great sounds like a real hoot. |

I'm a new student too and haven't passed radiation physics yet. It might sound cliche, but believe in yourself. Don't even toy with the thought of failing and you'll do fine. Understand the formulas, don't just memorize them. Talk to your teacher if you don't understand something. Ask questions. Don't let yourself get behind or lost. I have horrible study habits and am doing really well in my class so far. Don't be afraid of the math, from what I'm told it doesn't get too lofty. Best of luck. |

just relax guys, you'll get through it. after a while, it all becomes repetitive.

i feel the same way. Its my 3rd day and when they mentioned physics, i had a thought of failure. But if you want it bad enough you will do it!
SO THINK POSITIVE.
Im horrible in math. But I have to do this for myself and i will - so will you all |

You'll do fine! The beginning of the program is overwhelming, but you should get into the rhythm of it soon enough. Don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it.
Just try not to freak out! Good luck! |
