Dear Sirs,,
I work for one of the radiologist in NY State. We provide portable
ultrasound service for medical offices, out calls only. Professional
Physician Corporation was opened under my home. Business office location
is my house. We do not provide service in my house. I use my house for
billing for record and for management. My radiologist reads films at
his home on his computer. He never visited my house actually his medical
office.
My question is: Is this legal if radiologist reads films at other
location then his office (my house)?
Someone told me if radiologists never been at office I can not bill
insurance for reason it could called fraud. Radiologist does not exam
patients, what the problem is if he reads films outside of the office.
Could you please help me to find regulations for my situation?
Thank you for your time!!!
