Hi!

What are the x-ray evaluation criteria for a lateral view of a total knee replacement? Do the pins need to be superimposed? Should the posterior surface of the femoral condylar device be superimposed?

Do the evaluation criteria for a normal lateral knee view apply to a TKR, i.e., superimposition of femoral condyles, open joint space between femoral condyles and tibia, lateral profile of patella, open patellofemoral joint space, fibular head slightly superimposed by tibia, knee flexed 20-30 degrees, etc.?

One more thing: when doing a skyline view of a TKR, should the tube be angled?

I greatly appreciate any answers to these questions!!
