Hi there,

I applied for the Radiography program last Thursday. Can anybody please tell me what questions were you ask during the interview at the hospital? Anything you can remember will be appreciated.

First....don't be nervous....Second... eye contact is important, and third... it doesn't hurt to leave a vm on the program directors machine ....thank them for the interview, leave your name, and tell him/her that he/she made you feel very comfortable under a stressful time.... this will reinforce your name....also, during the interview, make sure that you mention that you are a compassionate person that can feel symphaty with others. (You will be working with many people with many different backgrounds) compassion/sympathy is key....good luck Exclamation

A few of the things I was asked was:
where do you see yourself in 5 years?
why shoud we pick you?
what are your hobbies?
how would you feel about seeing a trauma patient?
why do you want to do this?
what are you going to do if you don't get in?

I was asked what do I know about the different things a radiographer does? Did I shadow and if so what procedures did I watch? I made sure to tell them I knew about enemas and all the unpleasant stuff too. They wanted to make sure I knew what I was getting into. I would fully research what the different aspects of this job are before going in.
