Boy, I'm sorry for that. I took a look at Gateway's website .. they really put all the burden for the experience on the student, don't they? You have to find your own clinical sites, essentially designing your own curriculum.
It's a shame that you don't have access to the "other" Gateway CC, here in CT. It's a 2-year, F/T program, earns an AS, and there are standard, college prep requirements .. but you are not expected to be an RT first. What's more, the program is responsible for providing clincial sites and following an approved curriculum.
Good luck to you, I hope you make progress, whatever direction you travel.

I thought the same thing when I did my research on Gateway. I'm going to talk with the RAD director at my school and see what he recommends, maybe there is something out there that I have not seen yet. |

Hi azrad -
I traded email with Bryan Dodd, program director at the AZ Gateway US program.
Although the current program is designed for those who already hold healthcare certification, that's likely changing. Bryan says he'll have more information by the end of September.
Sorry I didn't get better news.
