Hello,

I have a question about making changes to mAs and kV. Here is question given in class.

-the patient measures 20 cm through the umbilicus
-the readout on the AEC for the correctly exposed AP pelvis was 10mAs @80kV (when using a 12:1 bucky at 100cm/40 in. SID)

Using the information given, what technique would be used for the cross table lateral hip if the patient measured 35 cm through the hip and an 8:1 stationary focused grid (focused at 35-45 inches) was used at 40inches SID

How would you approach this question?

Thanks
