Question is this the right site to ask a specific question re: an MRI report from 4 years ago which showed a "small non acute right posterior parietal infacrt". And 4 years later nothinbg shows up in this area. I would think there would be some remnant of this 'stroke" But in any case that is my question. Can a supposed stroke seen on MRI not show up later..Thanks Fran

It might be the images from 4 years ago showed an ischaemic lesion seen on diffusion weighted imaging caused by a TIA? Even after some months a healed lesion like this can't be found. Surely on normal weighted T2 images they can't be seen......
