Hi everyone:

I just joined this group and look forward to meeting everyone. I have
been an x-ray tech for 32 years (mostly orthopedics) and really need a
change. Since I can't quit my day job I was thinking about starting
an online rad. therapy school - I found one on the ASRT site. Has
anyone done this? For those already in this field, I know it can be
very depressing (I've worked around oncology patients before), but
since my mother died of cancer 3.5 years ago, I really feel like this
is something I could feel like I was really doing some good. There is
so much x-ray abuse in ortho. that I feel like I'm doing more harm
than good.

Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.
