Hi,
I had applied and got accepted to the Radiography program a couple years ago. Then I backed out and didnt even start the program. Here I am now regretting it and have reapplied. My hesitation was I wasnt sure I could handle the needle portion of it. I know it sounds stupid but I am terrified to inject someone with contrast. How much of that do you have to do in school? Do you become more comfortable with exposure to it? I worked at a MRI clinic for awhile and I know they had to give many injections. Is it the same with a hospital setting? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello Ashley unable to answer your question but would like to know what the procedures were to apply for th radiographer program. Im in michigan and have strong interest. Do you have to have a certain number of college credits before you apply?

hey Ashley couldnt you wrk for an ortho, strictly bones that way. I got my phlembotomy license so I could wrk while in school and I was realloy nervous but its like changing diapers, its not so bad you just get used to it. also someone asked about schooling, in my area Dallas/Fort Wrth it is very hard to get accepted. I tried for 3 years before I got in. Try to have all your pre reqs.it sure helps!!! Good Luck in whatever you decide to do
