Hello,

Im not really sure about some structure im seeing.

here is a full cross sectional image of my forearm

Here is the region of interest.

So what are the little hypoechoic holes (2mm) with what appears to be hyperechoic perimeters around y=8 x=20?
Are they subcutanous fat? Is tehre normally some kind of membrane around it? and whats the terminology. Are they vessels? The anatomy books im looking at appear to show fat in these areas and relatively few vessles.

here are some figures from atlas of cross sectional anatomy, the same areas appear.
