Hello,

Confined spaces make my wife somewhat anxious. If her doctor recommends an mri of her injured knee, how much and what portions of her body are likely to be inside the chamber? Can it be done without her head in the chamber?

feet first laying on back. Most likely will only go into the scanner up to her chest... depending on how tall... her head will be completely out.
Make sure and do a High field magnet. Dont go for an open MRI.
