Hello everyone,
This is my first post and I want to say that this is a great website! I have a question about the various pocket guides out there.
Our school uses the Merrill's pocket guide for clinicals, but I have noticed that Thomson Delmar publishes a pocket guide by Adler and Carlton that sells for around $60. This book contains the evaluation criteria listed in it for each exam as well as all the stuff that Merrill's has.
Do you think that it is worth having for a student? How does this book compare to the Bontrager's pocket guide?
Thank you.

All the pocket guides have their pros and cons. I haven't seen the Adler one but I own Bontrager and have seen Merril's. Bontrager, I think, is more pocket sized but Merril's has images of what the x-ray *should* look like. Also, Bontrager doesn't have the evaluation criteria. |
