How much physics is actually involved with the day to day work in ultrasound?

I realize that it's based on physics, and you study a lot of it in school, but was curious to know if you use it every single day, or if there are specific equations that are used more regularly than others.

I'm wondering if it would be a difficult occupation for someone who has difficulty with higher level math.

Thanks!
