I agree with you RadMaster. I have used a portable Orex scanner for mobile radiology. The techniques are different.
I believe that when new employees use this equipment, they are not
sure what they will get. The engineer and IT specialist need to take
more time explaining this to technologists.
If you can get into the software of any program, there are special settings
for different body parts. Even with Fuji, I found that out.
I do not believe the Directors of Radiology want to learn all there is and do
not want to spend the money to show all the students, techs, and other
supervisors.
With the Orex scanner, if it was too dark, I could rescan the image before
erasing the imgage. But that is a lousy reason.
