1) Emphysema will make a CXR appear light/dark . Why?

2) Pneumonia will make a CXR appear light/dark. Why?

3) CHF will make a CXR appear light/dark. Why?

I think:

1) dark because of excess air

2) light because of excess fluid

3) light also because of excess fluid
