I'm having a difficult time overcoming my fears in clinic. I'm doing fine academically, but when it comes to clinic I freeze up. I know I should be jumping right in, but I'm afraid of hurting the pt and causing repeats.
Any tips on how to overcome these fears would be much appreciated.

everyone has repeated images before, and you will also, especially being a student. you are learning after all, and no one expects you to be perfect. as for freezing up in clinicals? im guessing your nervous or you are lacking confidence in your self. is this your first clinical rotation? its normal to feel like that at first. but you said you are doing good in school, so you just need to transfer what your learning in the classroom over to the real world and you will be ok. you just need to jump in like you said and practice and learn and build confidence that you know what your doing.

I'm definitely nervous and lacking confidence in myself. It is my first rotation and I'm about halfway through with it.
Thanks for your help. _________________ RT n Training
