Nursing career or Radiology Tech?

I am enrolled in a community college and am finishing my prereqs prior to acceptance into either the nursing or radiology 2 yr program. I am in my early 50s and wonder if any of you could give me an idea of which direction to go in.

I worry if my age (even though I look and feel like I'm in my early 40s) will be a hinderance in finding a job when I graduate. I also have concerns as to whether it is easier to find a job as a nurse than a rad. tech.

I love people and wonder if there is a lot of satisfaction in being a rad. tech., in other words do you sometimes feel isolated in the hospitals and wish you were perhaps working in OB or emergency rooms?

This is such a new direction for me and I want to be more informed before making my final choice. I appreciate any suggestions and help you can give me.
