Hello Everybody
My Name Is Fatma I'm From Dubai And I Work As A Radiographer in Emergency and Trauma Centre, A Part Of Our Job is to do rotation in General X-rays, Mobile, Transbay and Operating Theatres,
and because we don't have enough staff members we face a lot of problems every day,
so i was wondering if it is possible to train the scrub nurses to use the C-Arm, and if there are such courses
I Hope i get the help i need here ..
Thanks |

Nurse or Theatre techicians can be trained to operate the x-ray equipment. Depending on your situation and government regualtion, the radiation license operator is the main issue.
A radiation licensed operator needs to be in the area of use, in Australia, surgeons can operate the II in the suite as long as they have their radiation license. The RT may or may not be present.
Occupationally this may not be ideal, but it serves the clinical need. _________________ I live, I learn, I evolve |
