Radiography and ultrasonography are not the same thing. If you are starting a program in radiography with a goal of becoming a certified radiographer, this will not make it possible for you to perform ultrasound.

Ultrasound is a distinct field, and has it's own educational path. Ultrasonography does not use radiation, but sound waves. Just like radiography, it is physically and mentally demanding. Much more so than radiography, good diagnognostic ultrasound is incredibly operator-dependant - i have a lot of respect for talented sonographers.
