I am a travel/contract rad tech/x-ray tech. I have been a traveler for over 6 1/2 years. I don't know if anyone can help me, but here it goes. I am needing information on how I can bid for hospital contracts as an independent contractor for temp/travel rad tech positions. I don't mind working for staffing companies, but if I can cut out the staffing company and put more money in my pocket, plus save the hospital some money, then I would like to try. I just don't know how: 1) I can find out what hospitals are needing staffing, 2) I can bid on the contracts, and 3) let hospitals know I would like to do independent contract work if/when they are under staffed.
