If you think about it, this is a non-starter. A brand new 4-year RN going to work in an office as opposed to a hospital MRI tech who has a 2-year degree but 15 years of experience working as a radiographer? Or do you mean a brand-new RN going to work in a research lab and a newly hired office MRI tech with no experience as a radiographer? What part of the country?

If you've chosen your profession, what difference does it make?

again, benjaml, it depends.

According to http://salary.com, base salaries in Fort Lauderdale look like this -
RN - $50,000 - $69,000
MRI Tech - $51,000 - $67,000

Other areas of the country that I checked are similar. The spread looks about the same.

Again, though - what difference does it make? Are you going to change professions if RN's have higher earning potential?
