|
I am interested in receiving opinions on the following topic:
Should MRI technologists be ARRT registered radiologic technologists?
I worked with a former co-worker who was not a x-ray tech. He simply went through a one year MRI school and took a test administered by ARMRIT. I did not know this was legal and the more I have researched his training, the more confused I am on my stance on this subject.
Please respond!! Brandi RT (R), (MR) |

While I agree that MRI techs should first be registered by the ARRT, I don't see the need for RAD techs to go through a BS program...
RN programs typically aren't BS programs, so that's what I base my opinion on.
I do believe that radiology parallel programs such as MRI, CT, NM, etc should coincide with a BS program. Most do, but not ALL. |
