Hello , I was wondering if anyone can give me information on how the Rf coils used for scanning the body differ for different manufacturers of MRI systems. I am curious to know if the transmitting coil for body scanning is the same bird cage one or does it differ for a siemens, philips and GE systems..
Any ideas would be appretiated, I cant seem to get this info on the websites.

Thanks
Sam
