I am getting my Associate of Sciences/Magnetic Resonance degree through Sonoma College, and its an excellent program. I do most of it online, and my Cross-Sectional, Physics, Patient Care is done on Saturdays, then I have a 6 month internship. The program is 22 months altogether. I'll write the exam, have a couple of valuable certifications and a good amount of jobs to choose from by the look of things. |

Hi! I'm interested in Radiology and have heard and researched many things. I had thought about going to Sonoma for their MRI program. I work in a hospital and have spoken to people in the radiology dept. Most of them seem to have completed a general radiology program as opposed to something as specific as what Sonoma is offering. My other concern was certification. My understanding is that one needs to AART certified. Something like Sonoma only offers ARMRIT, i think. What's your opinion? |
