Hey everyone! I'm taking online MRI classes and now I need to find a clinical site to get my MRI comps. My school is based in Arizona and is of no help because they said its up to the student to find a clinical site. I'm in the northern Virginia area and I'm not having any luck with the hospitals around here. Does anyone know who or where else I can go in the VA (Reston) area that is willing to take MRI students? Thanks!

VArad,

I don't know about VA, but I've heard of an MRI center in Woodbury MN. Click the following link and go to the bottom of the page: http://www.mnsrt.com/Program_Contact_Information.cfm . Hope this helps. I know there's a lot of new RT grads and existing RTs looking for MRI clinicals. It is hard to find. Good luck.

Did you find a clinical site yet? I too am looking for a clinical site, what school did you choose to do your online MRI classes. I've not chosen a program yet, because I was told to find a clinical site 1st. I did find a program in WI (they can't guarantee you to receive all required comps) and the other in PA (still waiting for infor on the number of comps they can guarantee to receive), I'm in MI. I would like to know what you think of your program and if you would recommend it. If I find anything more on a clinical site I let you know.
