Post subject: MRI Billing & Report Documentation
We are having a dilemma at our office.
out patient imaging center
many times exams are ordered - foot/ankle hand/wrist
many times these are scanned as one study and 1 report is issued by the radiologist.
1/2 of the office believes that 1 report = 1 billing only
another person says we should bill both studies.
Can you bill for 2 studies if you only have one report???
