HELLO,

if an MRI for a knee and an ankle on the same extremity is being done, we have to separate reports, do we bill 2 MRI? 73721-LT AND 73721-LT59? Is that correct. Anybody that can help with this, I'd REALLY appreciate it......

I see this post is very old, but one thing I have noticed recently is Medicare carriers wanting the -76 modifier in these cases: 73721, 73721-76
I know it seems goofy, but that seems to be more common these days. I still think -59 makes sense.
