I am trying to find information pertaining to Masters Degree Programs in Medical Physics. Which schools are best? Should I consider programs that are certified by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP) over programs that are not? Any information reagarding this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thank You. Very Happy

Not a medical physicist and, as this is a forum for Radiography/Radiology, I doubt you'll find any medical physicists here.

That said, I would think that completion of a program accredited by CAMPEP could only be a plus. Looks like there are lots of them out there .. I did a MSN search on 'medical physics', and there were tons of results from places like - CSU Fresno, VCU, Purdue, Duke ... And of course, the CAMPEP site has a list.

Good luck to you!

Thanks for you help hjhogle. Very Happy However, I have already researched Medical Physics schools and the Campep site. What I am really looking for is someone who may have any personal experience or insight into these schools. I am aware that this is a forum for Radiology/Radiography, but being and X-ray Technologist myself I was hoping someone else may have continued their education on this track. If anyone has any personal experiences or information pertaining to this topic it would be greatly appreciated.

Cool! You might try the Aunt Minnie Technologists forum. I also found this http://www.spsnational.org/ The Society of Physics Students may not be exactly what you're looking for, but some of them may have taken your path. I did a bunch of other searches, none of which panned out well.

Good luck!
