Hi, I am new to this forum and think it's the greatest thing I have ever seen! I only wish I would have learned about it further.

When taking PA CXR views, where should the marker be placed? I was taught that it should be wherever the pt. touches the IR. So shouldn't it be an "R" in the upper right corner, even though when developed the image comes out with the heart on the left side and the R backwards? Or should the R be placed in the same spot, but placed in the reverse position?
