just wanted to say quick thank you. i got an email from the head of my friend's band:

this is a band that my friend had joined a number of years ago, and i've had their web site in my signature for a while now. recently, they've put their songs on itunes, they usually tour the east coast (mainly staying around the DC area) and a number of times have played the 930 club in DC. they've won many battle of the bands, and hopefully will be around for a very long time.
