i am looking into a lmrt program in austin texas. i have heard that lmrt is not the way to go but i have not been in texas long enough and do not want to wait to get into a texas school. if i get a lmrt degree will i be able to continue on and get a rt degree after further education. thank you for the advice.

as a rule of thumb in radiology, i personally advise staying away from anything "limited".

with the job market the way it is now, you may have a hard time finding an MRI position as a limited tech. and even after getting your limited licence, you'd still have to go through the entire radiology program to become an RT.
